1.Merit-Based Scholarship
Merit-based scholarships are awarded to students who perform well academically and demonstrate outstanding achievement through their CGPA.
Such scholarships may be offered by:
A) TIET Merit-Based Scholarships
Students are not required to apply for TIET merit-based scholarships. The Institute prepares a list of merit holders based on academic performance. This list is displayed by the Institute, and scholarships are awarded accordingly.
B) External Merit-Based Scholarships
Scholarships offered by external agencies under the merit category are limited in number. Notices and application details (if available), whether awarded by the government or other institutions, will be posted on this page. For this category, students must apply individually.
2. Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
Merit-cum-means scholarships are designed for students who are academically capable but require financial support.
Such scholarships may be offered by:
A) TIET Merit-cum-Means Scholarships
B) Alumni Scholarships
C) External agencies under CSR activities
D) Other individual or institutional donors
For scholarships offered under the merit-cum-means category, eligibility usually requires minimum academic performance & Family income details. Notices and application details, whether awarded by the government or any other institution, will be posted on this page.For all the above categories, students must apply individually as and when notified.
