Eligibility & Other Information

Eligibility Criteria:

(A) (A) Candidates seeking admission to the degree of Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) must have obtained (candidates who are in their final semester/year of the qualifying degree can also apply):

A post-graduate degree or equivalent (with a minimum CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale or 55% marks in aggregate)

OR

A Professional qualification (with a minimum CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale or 55% marks in aggregate) or qualified CA / ICWA / CS/CFA

OR

A four-year professional degree (BE/B. Tech degree or equivalent) with excellent academic record (minimum CGPA of 9.00 on 10 point scale or 80% marks in aggregate). Relaxation in CGPA to 7.00 on a 10-point scale, or in marks to 65%, for the minimum eligibility conditions may be permitted for these candidates who have a minimum of 3 years of professional and/or research experience in the area in which the admission is sought. These candidates have to take additional master level courses of 06 credits which they select from the courses offered in Year 1 of MBA Program.

(B) Requirements: Course Work & Proposal Thesis:

The students will be required to complete minimum 30 credits (equivalent to 450 credit-hours) in 12 months. The course-work shall be of 21 credits which will consist of core and elective courses. However, the candidates who are selected based on 4-year qualifying degree have to take additional Master level courses of 6 credits from the courses of Year 1 of MBA Program. The proposal of thesis of 09 credits will be submitted after completion of first 12 credits.

(C) Duration:

The complete duration of the program is 12 months. Maximum time allowable to complete the program will be of 24 months.
