Dr. Reema Goyal is working as a Lecturer in the Dept. of Civil Engineering ,Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology since July 2016. She obtained her B.E in Civil Engineering and M.E in structures from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. Reema has worked as Principal Investigator of DST sanctioned project under WOS-a scheme for three years (2012-15) ) and has completed Ph.D at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology with research topic “FRP stay-in-place formwork for concrete slabs” in 2018. She has extensive experience in experimental testing and FEM modelling of concrete structures with FRPs as reinforcement. Her research areas included performance of FRP planks as structural formwork and means of obtaining bond between FRP plank and concrete.
Her current research focus on durability and ductility of FRP reinforced concrete structures with the help of digital image correlation monitoring technique.

Ms. Reema Goyal research interest is in development of means for rapid and durable construction. She is working on FRP stay-in-place formwork with major objectives as development of bond between FRP and cast in place concrete and overcoming ductility problems associated with composites. She is also working on FEM modelling of composite structures using Atena software.
