Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology has been marshaling alumni meets which are not only a good way to reconnect with your peers but also for professional networking. The institution has been consistently organizing events like jubilee celebrations which invoke pride and an invariable sense of belonging to the university. International meets have been held in the U.S. and Canada along with the national meets which are a great occasion for remembering, reminiscing, and recapitulating memories. TIET also arranges a meet-and-mingle networking event called Exordium which helps students to connect and to develop a strong network with the alumni. With alumni coming from different fields, students get a vast exposure in areas pertaining to their interests along with gaining valuable contacts and information which helps them in getting closer to their goals. Alumni meets are a great way of professional networking and TIET has always encouraged and been engaged in such meets and will continue to do so.
