MOU with R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore

OBJECTIVE

The general objective of this memorandum of understanding is to foster the interactions between Thapar University, Patiala and R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore, in the areas of mutual interest to enhance the value of research and training at both places by undertaking collaborative research projects and to enhance the quality of human resource by imparting training. Further both the organizations agree to establish long-term research collaboration exchange programs in fields those are compatible with the orientation of each organisation and are relevant to the industrial, scientific, social and cultural interests and needs of the country. The initial focus shall be in the areas of Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Biotechnology Engineering, Other areas of cooperation may develop at a later time.

 

MOU with DRDO-Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences, Defence Research Development Organization, Delhi

Further both the organizations agree to establish long-term research collaboration exchange programs in fields those are compatible with the orientation of each organisation and are relevant to the industrial, scientific, social and cultural interests and needs of the country. MOU with PGIMER, Chandigarh -Post graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh

OBJECTIVE

The general objective of this memorandum of understanding (MOU) is to cultivate the interactions between TU and PGIMER, Chandigarh faculty specifically in the areas of biomedical signal and image processing and robotics. This will enhance the value of research at both the places by undertaking collaborative research projects in the areas of imaging of human body parts such as abdomen, brain, heart, etc., signal analysis of EEG and ECG and working models such as "helping robots". This MOU intends to establish guidelines by which the two organizations will collaborate on future projects and joint work efforts in healthcare. This will lead to the harmonization of technology and data models for the purpose of better clinical diagnosis. This focused approach will help the students of Electronics, Instrumentation, Biotechnology, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering to apply their technical knowledge in the medical area.
