Research Interests

Dr. Chhibber's research group works around the synthesis of phenyl ether based molecules to create motifs that can efficiently detect ions and bio molecules. All the synthesized compounds are analyzed for their potential antibacterial activities due to their ability to inhibit fatty acid biosynthesis by blocking enzymes (enoyl-ACP-reductase) in the pathway.
